
Firearms Related Curriculums

Firearms Familiarity & Safety (FFS) is a classroom based curriculum that is designed to allow students who are interested in firearms or new firearm owners to form a foundational knowledge of the basic design and function of modern firearms, and to engrain the fundamentals of firearms safety procedures.
New firearms owners have the option to bring their new firearms to the class for an additional live-fire segment of the curriculum after the primary classroom based training has been completed.

Pistol One (P1) is a classroom and range based curriculum designed to allow a novice shooter to obtain and practice the fundamentals of firearms safety and to become familiar with the manipulation of their firearm.

Home Defense is a classroom OR in-home based curriculum that builds off an existing foundation of firearms safety and expands into the world of defensive tactics with the Introduction to a Defensive Mindset (IDM) curriculum and incorporates a basic level of Close Quarters Battle techniques. Ultimately the student will develop a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) dictating how to address threats in their home based on likely areas of entry or concern, and how additional members of the family are to react.

Introduction to a Defensive Mindset (IDM) is a classroom based curriculum designed to introduce different aspects of wielding a defensive mindset. All of which ultimately leads to conscious and effective wielding of a firearm, both overt and concealed, and preventing precarious situations.

Tactical Communications (TACCOM) is a classroom based curriculum designed to build clear, concise, and brief methods of communications while maintaining brevity using both covert and overt methods in team or family based events.

Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) was developed by the Defense Health Agency in response to the massive amount - roughly 24% of combat related and 20% of civilian trauma deaths - which were potentially preventable if treated prior to medical personnel arriving on scene. TCCC - Basic is meant to prepare you as a first responder to intervene and stabilize a casualty before medical personnel arrive. You will learn the three phases of TCCC and the basic implementation of the MARCH algorithm and its associated medical interventions.
